Indian media baron Kalanidhi Maran acquired 37.7% stake in SpiceJet in June 2010 through Sun Group. The airline ordered 30 Boeing 737-8 aircraft worth US$2.7 billion July 2010 and a further 15 Bombardier Q4 Dash short-haul aircraft worth US$446 million in December 2010.

Terms and Conditions:
  1. Passengers can bought Priority Check-In while making booking or after making the booking. It can be bought latest up-to two (02) hours before the scheduled departure.

Spicejet flies to 49 international destinations. Its inaugural flight flew from Delhi to Mumbai via Ahmadabad on May 24, 2005. Spicejet operates in 49 destinations across the world. In case of purchase of ticket through travel agent/portal, the refund shall be processed within 30 working days.

In addition, Spicejet tickets bought from airport counters by paying in cash between 9th November, 2016 to 2nd December, 2016 cannot be cancelled. however the same can be modified with applicable fare rules.

Also, Add-on services like Meal, SpiceMax, Excess Baggage, Lounge, Priority Check-in, Bag Out First are non-cancellable in isolation.
