Spicejet baggage allowance
Spicejet has the facility of Free checked-in baggage (applies only for adult and child). Given below is Spicejet baggage allowance limits.
- Domestic: 15kg not to exceed the allowed maximum dimension 158cm (L+B+H)
- International: 20kg (except Muscat, Colombo, Dubai, Kabul)
Also, there few special allowance are available. Few international flights allowance is up to 30kgs. Flights like, to and from Muscat, Colombo, Dubai and Kabul- has allowance up to 30kgs.
How much hand baggage is allowed?
You can carry the cabin baggage up-to 7 kg which includes your laptop and duty free shopping bags. The dimensions of baggage should not exceed 115cms (L+B+H) on Boeing flights and 108cms (L+B+H) on Bombardier flights.
But, passengers with an infant are allowed to carry an more hand baggage up-to 7kg. Make sure not to exceed limits, as mentioned here in above .
Also, there are NO cabin baggage are allowed in flights originating from Jammu Kashmir and Shrinagar . It’s because of Spicejet security regulations.
In Addition, Passengers carrying more than the baggage allowance i.e 15 kgs. will be charged at rate of INR 100 per kg (inclusive of service tax and cess, if applicable) for first 5 kgs. and INR 350 per kg (effective from 5th May, 2017) for baggage over and above 5 kgs. for domestic travel only (effective from 1st July, 2016).
